I saw the Video you made about the Slenderman Mythos and can I just say Finally someone whos not incompetent in this Fandom but there was Only One mistake you made: The Jeff the Killer Image was not actually a photoshopped image of a girl that commited suicide but in fact was the creator Susser in a photoshopped latex mask. I'm Sorry if I sounded rude or if you've gotten this kind of message before. Also can you just imagine the creator looking on social media and being like "Wow...Am I THAT ugly?" XD. Anyway just letting you know.
This user uses Offenderman has a profile pic. I know we don't allow him to be mentioned in the forums, but I figured to at least get a second opinion for telling someone to change their profile pic or be banned.
As we are a Creative Commons wiki, you are fully allowed to copy sections of this wiki to use in your own articles, however, and I want to stress this as this has been somewhat of an issue for our wiki recently, you must place a proper reference credit back to this wiki on the article in question. Failure to do so is plagiarism, but as long as you do so, there is no reason you cannot use a section of that page.
As an example, if you use part of the Slender Man article, simply use a citation to link back to our article in the section you copied.
I was contacted by a journalist asking for an interview regarding Slender Man. I want to assume this person means well, but after the demonization of Slender Man in the media following Waukesha Wisconsin, please do not answer any questions and simply point this person elsewhere.
Her page says she's published her stuff to Polygon and Vice...that alone is creating some red flags, to me. I hope I'm wrong, and she actually means well, but I think the way you handled it was the best way to go about it.
