How to defeat him is one old question fans have had and still have and never came to a conclusion yet. Have you ever had any ideas on how he works? And, therefore, have you ever thought of some way to defeat him?
I mean, I don't have any intentions of doing so, but since it's been a public debate for so long I wanted to know your visions on this.
Slenderman and defeat, intriguing. Fundamentally, Slenderman's main source of power comes from the psychological and mental torment he creates. However, the additional source of power comes from his sheer strength and flexibility, in terms of space as he can easily teleport.
How can we beat him? We simply cannot, logically speaking.
However, a way in which we may avoid potential doom when encountering him is by, not trying to sound strange, talking ourselves out of it. Standing our grand and making sure he knows that he has no psychological dominance over you. If it works, great! If not, 'alas.
We can beat him if we try our best to ignore him; the monster beneath our beds. But if we pursue him any further, we will surely be met with terror and morbidity.
I think it's more complicated than that. I used to believe that with a great willpower of us he couldn't control and affect us, but not any of us is strong enough. Now, that is a generalization, because with "us" I mean any human being of the whole species. But honestly, I really think none of us could avoid him that way, he is simply very powerful -or that's what we guess.
Also, I'm not sure if his source of power is the psychological and mental torment he creates. He uses his power for that, but I think it comes from somewhere else, somewhere we don't know. I mean, if he doesn't torment anyone he can still go on and kill, impale on trees, etc. Just because he always creates that torment, it doesn't mean his life purpose is that and that it needs it to live. That exemplifies his flexibility and strength, he is strong and flexible and will continue to be, yes it makes him powerful indeed, but we gotta understand its origin, we cannot avoid him if he just keeps teleporting near us everytime.
Those two characteristics of him are what make him unique -so to say-, but we need to know how he manages to teleport and control our neurons.
I know it's more complicated than that, but to keep it brief; Slenderman is something that we simply cannot beat, but we can always try to.
The source of his power does not come from this psychological torment he forces us to endure, however - a great deal of his power branches off of that that exact trait.
He is a flexible and domineering entity, and I would love to find out his origin. But perhaps his origin will forever be left ambiguous? If so, we can try to understand many people's 'encounters' and draw conclusions from that. I.e; Where he tends to be, how he picks his victims, etc - and we will use that evidence to guide ourselves towards the opposite direction.
And I must say, I doubt we will ever understand how he can teleport and how he can control our neurons. There are so many things that we don't know about ourselves, let alone a powerful entity!
